The palette is soothing and the fabrics natural for an organic and effortless feel providing an idyllic setting for the owner and his family to relax and enjoy.

Situated on the Par 3 course in the Bear’s Club in Jupiter, Florida this summer retreat was designed for an Ohio based race car driver and his family, with special consideration given to his teenage son, an aspiring pro-golfer. Their primary residence, a classic contemporary estate that had been featured in Architectural Digest, epitomized their lifestyle and design aesthetic, so the pressure was on to create a home to rival this masterpiece, but yet have it’s own distinct personality. Every detail – both interior and exterior – was scrutinized, from the custom designed corner-stones, or quoins, to the rounded interior corner beads. The ceilings have stunning hand shaped beams and wood plank detailing produced by a local craftsman and artisan from logs harvested from the rivers in northern Florida. Other interior finishes include limestone and wood floors, locally cast stones and mosaics, and a custom wrought iron chandelier hand-forged in France that weighed over a ton. The palette is soothing and the fabrics natural for an organic and effortless feel providing an idyllic setting for the owner and his family to relax and enjoy.

I am so in love with my house!
