For this family of six, their newly designed custom residence that sits next to a nature preserve on the Intracoastal, was destined to be their dream home. Just steps away from the Atlantic Ocean it was a welcome and dramatic change for these transplants who lived in a country home one hour from New York city. This young family wanted something fresh, clean, transitional and durable (as all four children were under the age of 9).  Substantial millwork detailing was incorporated throughout including the Foyer that was wrapped in nickel-joint tongue and groove, and the Living Room that has hand-shaped, wire-brushed beams.
